A steady partner who listens deeply, thinks clearly and says what needs to be said

I help mission-driven healthcare leaders build the financial and operational discipline that protects your ability to serve your community for the long haul.

I'm not naive about the financial pressures you face - I spent years in finance and investment management, and I understand the numbers have to work. But I also believe deeply that healthcare organizations exist to help people live healthier lives, and that financial discipline shouldn't undermine that mission - it should protect it. Good strategy, financial discipline, and strong operations create the foundation for sustainable, excellent care.

For nearly twenty years, I've chosen to live in Vermont and work with organizations I care about: community health systems, behavioral health providers, and healthcare startups trying to make care more accessible and higher impact. I spent my early career at Deloitte, Cambridge Associates, and in global public health, but I've built my practice serving organizations facing real constraints while staying true to their mission - because this work work matters deeply to me.

I've been Chief of Staff at a mental health startup navigating Series A challenges, sourced M&A deals for PE-backed behavioral health platforms, redesigned strategic planning for a multi-state network, and bootstrapped Flyway Wellness - bringing yoga services to behavioral health clinics across New Hampshire and Vermont. Every role has helped me pursue my mission: guiding healthcare leaders through strategic, operational, and cultural change to optimize access and impact for the health of their communities.

What makes me effective isn't just the analytical and process work I do - though I can redesign your planning process, build your financial model, and fix broken operations. It's that I understand the human side of change. I know that the hardest part isn't figuring out what to do - it's navigating the leadership elements, the interpersonal dynamics, the tough conversations, and the sustained effort required to actually make change stick.

I'm the partner who listens deeply, sees opportunities you don’t notice, and says what needs to be said with kindness. I stay grounded when things get messy, lead with compassion, and keep going when it gets hard.

I chose to build my life and practice in Vermont because I want to be close to nature and part of tight knit communities. When I'm in the mountain and on the trails I energize myself and I'm reminded of why I do this work: To help people live their healthiest, best lives. That's why I work in healthcare - to serve those who need support most and to create lasting, positive change that helps communities thrive.
